Samenvatting
The XIIIth World Meeting of the International Road Federation was held in Toronto, Ontario from June 16 to 20, 1997. More than 450 technical papers and poster presentations were delivered in one of the three official languages of the conference (English, French or Spanish). The proceedings are available on CD-Rom. The Technical Program covers all aspects of road transportation and many aspects of other transportation modes, with presentations, discussions and special sessions addressing the full spectrum of international technology and management issues - everything from moving hazardous goods to designing Intelligent Transportation Systems.
