Speakers, perspective papers and discussion group summarizations of a conference on community response to alcoholism and highway crashes. The main aspects of the conference were social rehabilitation, law, medicine, community organisation insurance, communications and government in their relation to (a) the problems koaed by the problem - drinking driver (b) the role of each profession or discipline (c) the difficulties in integrating these roles into a compressive and effective community response to the problems.
