The Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI), the French Institut National de Recherche sur les Transports et leur Securite (INRETS) and Laboratoire Central des Ponts et Chaussees (LCPC) together with the Forum of European Road Safety Research Institutes (FERSI) and Forum of European National Highway Research Laboratories (FEHRL) jointly organised this conference on Road Safety in Europe and Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP) in Lille, France, in September 1994.
