The 1965 Stapp Conference, held at the University of Minnesota, marked the tenth anniversary of that first meeting at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, when 26 individuals responded to an invitation from Colonel John Paul Stapp. They were individuals from the engineering, medical and biomechnical disciplines representing the automotive and airplane industries, universities and the military services interested in human impact survival. This book contains the papers presented at the 1965 Stapp Conference.
