Samenvatting
The road safety research programme of the UK's Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR) includes work on novice/recently qualified drivers. The papers presented at this conference cover aspects of this research, including accident liability of new drivers, driver training, driver licensing systems, driver attitudes, and risk/hazard perception.
