Samenvatting
The objective of the workshop was to present the preliminary conclusions of the JTRC study on Improving Safety, Productivity and Sustainability of Trucking. The study undertaken by an international working group of experts from 20 countries, will be published in 2011. It provides insights into the main components of the heavy road freight transport system that can facilitate the development of policies to support improvements in its productivity and safety and mitigate its impacts on the environment and society.
