Samenvatting
The applicability of some evaluation instruments, developed to evaluate the "Ongoing Traffic" curriculum, was investigated in a pilot experiment. The results indicated that the paper and pencil test was sufficiently adapted to the pupils'level of knowledge. On the basis of the results obtained with the test, a preliminary description of the initial level of pupils in the lower grades of secondary schools could be presented with regard to those issues that are relevant for evaluation.
