Samenvatting
The investigation shows that it is possible to make fairly exact predictions of yearly totals in the analysis of road traffic accidents from incomplete information. The precision of the forecast depends upon: 1) the number of months for which data is not available yet; 2) the development of the accident situation in the year investigated; and 3) the prediction method used.
