Samenvatting
The purpose of the plan is 1) to define the responsibilities and procedures for the development and issuance of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and 2) to provide a specific plan of rulemaking actions for the 1970-1972 period. The plan encompasses activities with the development of standards for all motor vehicles. Rulemaking actions for the establishment of both vehicle safety performance requirements and consumer information regulations are described.
