Samenvatting
As part of a research project on local traffic safety policies, a follow- up study was carried out in 1984- 1986 on the experimental programme "Safer cities with accidentless neighbourhoods". Experiments concerned area- improvement schemes on small towns or residential areas of larger cities including a major through traffic objectives were accident reduction, environmental improvement, and enhancement of local safety and development policies.
