Samenvatting

The main conclusion is that the introduction of the off-side priority rule at a wide variety of both public-road and test-track junctions has produced substantial increases in capacity compared with conventional methods of control. This would indicate that there would be considerable economic gains from a wide application of this method of control, possibly leading to the introduction of a general offside priority rule at junctions.
