Samenvatting
The objective of this study was to determine the effect of year-round daylight saving time (YRDST) and of year-round double daylight saving time (DDST) on the motor vehicle accident rate. An experiment was designed to employ computer analysis of available data. The daylight savings equivalent day, a novel concept, was developed to allow the available data, from non-YRDST and non-DDST years, to be used to find an estimate of the effect of YRDST and DDST.
