Samenvatting

Real-time traffic information systems of the next generation will require a location referencing method that is able to address every possible road concatenation or single parts of every road. AGORA-C enables the generation of such flexible location references. For traffic information systems, fast algorithms will be needed that are able to process AGORA-C location references in a car navigation system. This paper presents principle properties of decoding procedures. Based on considerations about the advantages of the described properties, a new method for decoding AGORA-C location references was developed. Results of tests regarding computation time and reliability are presented. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
