Information regarding drivers, vehicles, accidents, and highways is not maintained in a way that facilitates analysis and correlation for planning, management and evaluation of traffic safety programs. The objective of the Traffic Records Program is to develop State Traffic records systems that can provide information in a format easily summarized.
