Prospective studies of traffic injuries in relation to medical conditions of drivers : methodology and progress report.

A project designed to set up a representative sample for study, taken from the population of drivers in greater Montreal, is described. The objectives of the project are: to determine information about medical and related factors possibly affecting the risk of traffic injury, and information on mileage driven each year; to obtain from official records details of all accidents suffered by the drivers in the sample.
