Samenvatting
Concrete pavements are used widely in modern road construction. In order to achieve the high quality of these pavements, it is necessary to observe strictly the technological requirements and to use the special water protective means. At the Byelorussin State Polytechnical Academy investigations have been performed for revealing the defects of pavements, ascertaining the origins of these defects and substantiating the methods of the improvement of their strength and freeze resistance of the pavements. This paper represents some results of these investigations, gives the composition of hydrophobic (water-repellent) materials and how to apply them.
