Samenvatting
Both prototypes consider the negative consequences for the traffic operation on a rural two-lane road of two specific events, viz. a road-block and a slow moving agricultural vehicle. The models developed for these phenomenae are discussed briefly. The user has to input in an interactive way characteristics of the event, the undisturbed traffic stream and the fundamental diagram of the road section. A number of characteristics of the resulting disturbance are calculated and presented as numbers, graphics and figures in distance-time plane.
