Samenvatting

The study reported obtained representative public attitudes toward a comprehensive array of public transit features, operations and modes. The questionnaire consisted of a series of questions on microfeatures or operational elements of transit systems and a series of macrofeatures, or whole systems. The 5 whole systems of transit described and available for rating were improved bus systems, dual-rail systems, other tracked-vehicle systems, dual mode systems, and demand-responsive bus systems.
