Samenvatting
The provision of public transport services in Lagos has undergone a dramatic change in recent years. The objective in this paper is to outline the factors accounting for the present situation and indicate ways in which public and private sector public transport operations may change in the future. In this latter respect, the potential influence of a possible decision to add a metro line to the city's transport infrastructure is discussed.
