Samenvatting

The implementation of large-scale urban ATT projects requires collaboration between industry and city authorities. In the QUARTET cities of Athens, Birmingham, Stuttgart and Turin, decision makers have invested in applications that are elements of more extensive traffic management schemes. The systems introduced are outlined, but more specifically the paper examines the key choices made in QUARTET and the main conclusions to be drawn from the work. (A)
