Samenvatting
The Occupational Visual Welfare Committee of the Association of Optical Practioners reccommends that the test for a driver's visual ability should be regularized and standardized. It is also recommended that before a would-be driver is issued with a provisional driving licence, he should produce a certificate of satisfactory vision. Visual requirements should include checks for: visual acuity, field of view, muscle balance, stereoscopy and colour vision.
