Samenvatting
The safety system described here, makes it possible to transmit from the installations in the tunnel even in case of emergency, thus allowing the emergency services operating in the tunnel to remain in contact with their base station. Furthermore it ensures continuity of radio telephone links with regard both to the reception of national FM transmitters and to the bilateral links between service and base travelling through the tunnel.
