Samenvatting
To reduce the speed of the traffic flow, especially in the residential area, at many places road humps are placed in the last past years. Besides speed reduction road humps can be used to increase the attention which the driver has to pay. Road humps also can be used in combination with (other) supplies like a bottleneck. In this report most attention is paid to isolated road humps as a kind of speed reduction for cars. This report results in a principle proposal to the application and desirability of such road humps. In a supplementary report facts are given to calculate some speed limits. See also B 15779.
