Samenvatting
In Friesland and Drenthe, and later on also in Noord Brabant, a tryout was made into the regionalization of traffic safety. Regionalization is not a decentralization or a deconcentration but a means for a more active role of the existing possibilities and competences in the field of traffic safety in a particular region. The cooperation and functioning of the different regional authorities are taken into account. Regionalization is a good instrument and it is proposes to continue and to expand it also in other provences where possible.
