Samenvatting
In order to establish a simple and rational pavement management system, particularly for the use of municipalities, a test project was set up. The five basic elements of rational pavement management: (1) data bank, (2) visual inspection, (3) measurements, (4) specifications and criteria, (5) performance models, are incorporated. A manual for carrying out rational pavement management is discussed. Specifications and recommendations are given. Conclusions are drawn.
