Samenvatting
The article describes an advanced solution to monitoring in real time the road surface along the motorway. Knowledge of the road surface condition is very important both for operators and for users, especially in northern Italy during winter because of ice and snow. The described system, of which the results are presented of the operating phase, allowed an immediate identification of different road surface conditions at the motorway control center. (A*)
