Three rear field-of-view targets comprise the composite rear field of view. The two rearmost targets can be constructed in full scale and placed at specified distances behind the driver's seating reference point. The exact size, shape and location of the two targets are defined. The third rear field-of-view target spans the region between the rear and side fields of view.
