Samenvatting
During the last few years several advanced tyre models have been developed at the Vehicle Research Laboratory. In order to validate these models and obtain tyre parameters and characteristics, tyre measurements had to be made on the road and in the laboratory on steel drums. A measuring system was built which makes use of piezoelectric multicompnent force transducers. This system is described.
