S.E.T.R.A. has launched two complementary projects, namely I.R.R.I.S. (Road Information Itinerary Research) and C.I.M. (Choice of Itinerary by Minitel). The first is designed to expand information tools for the manager or road engineer, the second is a service for the general public. Both are based on a digitalization of the road network in the form of arcs and nodes carrying summarized information including name, speed, type of cross section profile etc.
