On January 1, 1982 a new legislation was introduced in the Netherlands on the noise hindrance along the roads. In January, 1984 a new version was edited. Thereafter in 1988 new specifications were inserted due to new jurisprudence and circumstances. Definitions are presented, and after some examples, the text of relevant articles of the legislation is presented.
