Research into recreational traffic is indispensable for the planning of provisions for recreation purposes. This article may regarded as an exposition of the various manners in which the problems in the field of recreational traffic are approached. This exposition starts with a few remarks regarding the volume of recreational traffic and the possible increase of the same. Then some reference is made to the required changes in the methods of planning.
