Samenvatting
An operational RAIAR network, making information on roads and transport easily available with full respect for the autonomy of the institutions will create a new type of solution supported by advanced information technology: distributed, flexible and scalable, more efficient, more secure and open to accomodate new participants. The full potential of this infrastructure will be realised with the start of the network. The solution that was implemented will prove itself as an extremely powerful instrument to achieve the modernisation of public administration and the improvement of the quality and efficiency of such a large and complex system as is the case of the road and transport sector.
