Reflecting type optical vehicle sensor.

This short article describes the design and specifications of an optical (infrared) sensor used for collecting data about traffic flows and vehicle location. Brief details are also provided of tests of the system specifications carried out in Yokohama and Sapporo. The results are provided which indicate how accurate the system is.
