Samenvatting
This article sketches the development of scheduled regional air transport in The Netherlands and takes a look at the future of this branch of the industry. Subjects including the development of regional air transport (Dutch and other, domestic and inter- regional); regional airports and - aircraft; Dutch and European rules and regulations; and the influence of rail transport, with special reference to High Speed Rail projects, are discussed.
