Usually a cost-benefit analysis is performed to show the different aspect of infrastructural (Highway-Way) improvements. Apart from the construction there are cost for maintenance land use, environment, etc. The benefits are: reduced travel time, increased road safety accidents, reduced travelcosts and effects on the economical developments in the area.
