In the province of Zeeland were in 1975 eight ambulance services with 22 ambulances, which is one ambulance on 14.000 inhabitants. In the period 23 June 1975- 14 September 1975, 1807 journeys were made. 22.2% of these were made for traffic accidents, in which 221 accident-victims were transported.
