Time mapping Rotterdam : new ways in exploring accessibility. In transport policy in Rotterdam accessibility and travelling time are important quality factors. To show the effects of new public transport infrastructure on accessibility new methods of presentation have been searched. This paper describes the goals of the project and shows examples of different methods to presentate travelling time, accessibility and network structure on maps. Furthermore the results of the project are described: more traditional maps and the new tempo graphic map in 1998 and 2020. The maps show the geographical transformation of the Rotterdam area by time. (Author/publisher)
