Samenvatting
Spatial separation of home and work causes numerous people to spend a fair part of their time travelling from one place to another. Based upon statistics the author deals with changes in journey durations and shifts in the modal split. The author does not expect that the relative reduction in home-work journey times, caused by increased car usage, will continue.
