Samenvatting
The development of the crash deployed air cushion restraint system for use in passenger cars required many special programs over a number of years to be reasonably certain the cushions would perform as designed in the protection of both children and adults in a wide range of environmental exposures and accident situations. Major programs are identified and their results are summarized.
