The purpose of this study was to investigate the interrelationships between visual cue identification capabilities, behavioural characteristics and selected demographic data which significantly relate to accident and/or conviction involvement. Driving record data were obtained covering the period January 1, 1970 through December 31, 1974. Subjects for the investigation consisted of 1.240 persons in attendance at the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration's Driver Rehabilitation Clinic at College Park, from February 1, 1974 through November 30, 1974.
