Samenvatting

The test-retest reliability coefficient obtained for the University of Southern California's Driving Performance Test using novice drivers tested two weeks apart was modest, in spite of adherence to sound psychometric principles in the construction of the test, leading to the hypothesis that learning had occurred. A second reliability study, with conditions tightly controlled and retesting a half hour later, produced exceedingly high reliability coefficients for both experienced and novice drivers.
