Remarks on the equivalent of a vehicle in passenger car units.

Assuming that the collection of vehicles in a given traffic situation can be separated into two classes of which one consists of reference vehicles, the author introduces the idea of an equivalent which can be assigned as the frictitions measure of traffic flow,measured in units of reference vehicles. Conditions are described which would facilitate the calculation of an equivalent it is exists.
