Report on Australian bicycle helmet requirements and education programs by State and Territory : Australian contribution to the World Health Organisation WHO helmet initiative.

This report outlines the requirements for wearing bicycle helmets throughout Australia and the programs adopted for promoting the use of bicycle helmets. Requirements for wearing helmets are the legislative responsibility of State and Territory authorities and most education programs are conducted by them, the contents have been checked with these authorities. This report is in three sections.
