A report on driving test conducted on Nagoya-Kobe expressway. (By existing Japan-made vehicles).

This test was conducted with an aim of surveying the kind of performance domestically-made automobiles would display when put to high-speed running on expressways, as well as to obtain fundamental data necessary for determining the kind of traffic control devices and services and guidance policies for drivers necessary in the initial sta88s of servicing of a part of the Nagoya-Kobe Expressway, literally Japan's first expressway.
