Report of the Group of Rapporteurs on General Safety Provisions.

The group of rapporteurs discussed the following subjects: seat anchorages; impact test against a fixed obstacle; energy absorption capacity; illuminating and signaling lights. The draft regulation concerning illuminating and signaling lights for vehicles is presented. Definitions are given with respect to various types of lights, their position, function and characteristics.
