Samenvatting
This report is a summary of information on road crashes in Western Australia for 1994. In particular, it focuses on serious crashes, i.e., fatal and hospitalisation crashes, as these crashes are estimated to make up 6% of reported crashes but 41% of the total cost of crashes to the Western Australian community. Overall trends, road user groups, crash characteristics and contributing factors to serious road crashes in 1994, are examined.
