Gender or incomes are some of the classical variables used to study the relationships between a city dweller and his environment. But they can not alone explain the differences between spatial behaviours and representations. The knowledge of migrations (places and length of stays) complete the analyses by improving the understanding of the way of thinking and acting. Therefore, this paper proposes to study spatial representations and urban daily mobility in western Africa through some new variables including the migration concept: place of birth; length of stay in town; and migrations in the west.
