Samenvatting
This report presents results from research on the attitudes toward the drinking and driving legislation, the enforcement of the legislation, extent and variation of drinking and driving, proportion of drinking drivers among injured or killed drivers, drinking and driving and accident risk, characteristics of drinking drivers and the effect of imprisonment and of fines on the extent of drinking and driving. In addition a brief presentation of the drinking and driving legislation, and background statistics are given. (Author/publisher)
