Samenvatting
ITS, Intelligent Transportation System, is the tendency of city transportation system development, and is an ideal solution of the city transportation problem. This article proposes the conception of city ITS information platform (ITS-IP) and the framework diagram of the information platform. The four parts of city ITS-IP, traffic information collection, information transmission, information processing, are analyzed in detail, and then, TCIP, Transportation Communications for ITS Protocol, is discussed which guarantees the interoperability and interchangeability of ITS-IP.
