Samenvatting
In this review and study, the purpose of which was to improve guard fences on the median strips of expressways in order to cope with the present situation of traffic characterized by an ever- increasing speed and scale, various tests such as collision tests using actual motor vehicles and high collision energy, mechanical tests for members and collision simulation were conducted. Then, based upon the data of test results, a guard rails were developed and proposed for median strips.
